Cardiovascular Generalist - Join the HeartCare Midwest team of more than 40 cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons and vascular surgeons, serving 17 area hospitals and 9 clinics, in the largest, most advanced and most experienced cardiovascular practice in central Illinois. We offer services in arrhythmia, cardiothoracity, vascular, intervention, and diagnostics and testing, with specialty clinics in heart failure, anticoagulation management, lipid management and arrhythmia devices. We've participated in more than 120 medical trials and are typically involved in approximately two dozen at any given time as or physicians strive to focus on all aspects of cardiovascular health, including the management and prevention of conditions.

Cardiovascular Generalist - Opportunity exists for a busy and varied cardiology practice including office, hospital, non-invasive and invasive diagnostics, with limited call coverage responsibility. Coverage for this position would include OSF St. Mary Medical Center.

 

Peoria, Illinois

Heart Failure Specialist - The ideal candidate will be a Cardiologist who is BE/BC in Heart Failure or have concentrated training and experience in a Heart Failure Clinic. Experience in the management of heart transplant and mechanical circulatory support patients is required. JC certification in heart failure and mechanical circulatory support are in place at the OSF St Francis Heart Hospital. Physician will serve as a member of the bridge to transplant Left Ventricular Assist Device program and work in various heart failure initiatives to optimize care delivery, maintain low length of stay and decrease readmission rates. Our goal, with an additional physician, is to expand the destination therapy LVAD program and increase activity in advanced clinical heart failure trials. The Heart Failure Specialist will work in close collaboration with regional transplant referral programs and contribute to ongoing management and care of new transplant patients. Our Pulmonary Hypertension Evaluation and Management Clinic is office based, with more than 50 active patients on all modalities of therapy.
