Born and raised in India, Anitha moved to the United States in 1999 to complete her Internship and Fellowship in New York, New York.  During her residency, Anitha’s rotations in Cardiology in Internal Medicine and preventive cardiology were her greatest influence in choosing her specialty. 

Anitha joined HeartCare Midwest as a non-interventional, imaging cardiologist beginning in November, 2010.  She recently served as the Medical Director of the Non-Invasive Cardiology services at North Central Bronx Hospital, Bronx, New York and has significant experience in many aspects of cardiac imaging.  While she has accomplished much within her profession, she believes “the best is yet to come.”

Anitha is married with two girls and one son.  She enjoys traveling whenever she can.
